At Art Cafe, we’re embracing the practice of farming by growing our own produce and working on our farm, learning as our ancestors once did. We are collaborating with local farmers in Kalimpong, striving to cultivate our own produce, from grains to herbs, while supporting local agriculture. We believe that the art of farming hasn’t been passed down well through generations, and we’re dedicated to preserving this tradition and learning from it.

Haat Bazar is truly the heart of Kalimpong, serving as a farmers market where local, seasonal produce is available year-round. It’s not only a showcase of the region’s rich harvest but also a vibrant reflection of Kalimpong’s diverse cultures, all living together in harmony.
We prioritize fresh, wholesome food. Our bakery prepares breads and sauces in-house, avoiding preservatives and focusing on conscious eating with quality.
CRAFTING PROCESS
We believe in eating fresh, wholesome food. Packaged foods often contain preservatives and chemicals that can harm both our bodies and the environment. That’s why our Bakery unit is dedicated to this vision, where we make everything from our own breads to in-house sauces, like mayonaisse, flavoured oils etc., avoiding preservatives and MSG and focusing on freshness and quality.
At our café, we believe every dish is a work of art, served on handcrafted ceramics that enhance the sensory experience of every bite.

Our passion for food as an art has led us to connect with people from various walks of life. One memorable encounter was with Mr. Kumar, a talented potter from South India, whose craftsmanship allowed him to create custom ceramic pieces for us. His beautiful work is reflected in the unique cups and ceramics we now use at the cafe.
Our drinks range from fresh coffees and soothing teas to homemade smoothies and juices, all prepared with care to brighten your day.
